Several Upsilonians and Sigma Deltans were elected to the board of directors of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in elections held in May of this year. Businessman Robert Aranton '81 was elected to succeed outgoing president and fellow Upsilonian Eni Laserna '62. USPAA chairman Roel Castro '84 and former UPLB chancellor Dindo Sanchez '84 were elected as first and third vice presidents respectively.
